Jitterbuggin challenge #14 Born to be Wild

Here's my entry for the Jitterbuggin challenge # 14 Born to be Wild. The challenge was to follow the sketch, add a cricut animal and to use stripes. So Bear with me......Also entered in Paper Playtime Challenge.
The card is made from brown coredinations, the stipe and blue behind the bear were from the scrap pile. I used Campout cricut cartridge for the bear and a simple hand written "Bear with me" with a strand of jute tied at each end.
Here is a close up of the sentiment. I did ink the edges of both the stripe and blue papers with brown ink for a rustic feel.
Here you can see that the bear and sentiment have been pop dotted, for a little more dimension.
Thanks for looking. Please feel free to leave comments, would love to hear from you. Hope you have a wonderful day!

More Thank you cards

Here are a couple more cards I made the other day.
I used mostly scraps. The ribbon and flower stamp I got out of the dollar bin at Target. I used inkjet card stock, I cut them down some and rounded the edge of the front flap. The font is from Jasmine cricut cartridge.
Here's one of the cards a little closer.
Thanks for looking, hope you liked what you saw. Please feel free to leave a comment, love to hear from you! Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Thank you cards

Here are some cards I made while at my sisters house yesterday.
I needed to make some "Thank you" cards to send out to everyone who gave gifts to my daughter for her 2nd birthday. So if you see this before the card gets to you, you get a sneak peak of what your getting. LOL

Here is one of the cards, this one and 3 others I made have the white scallop.

This one has a brown scallop.
The brown is coredinations cardstock, all the pinks are from My Minds Eye Totally Girl ( I think, they were in the scap bag so not positive but pretty sure.) The ribbon came from Hobby Lobby. The base is plain white cardstock cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 ( card is not folded in half, left one side a little longer than the other ).
That's all I have for today, hope to do more scapping soon. Thank you for looking and hope you liked it, please feel free to leave a comment love to hear from you! Thanks and have a wonderful day!!

Jitterbuggin Challenge Sketch #9

This is a card I made for the Jitterbuggin challenge. The papers are all from the Chirstmas Mat stack(DCWV). The pink ribbon is just some that I had, from Wal-mart as are the buttons. The daisies are Martha Stewart. "love" was cut using Home Decor Cricut cartridge. The card base is a half fold card for inkjet printers, cut down to 4.5" x 6.5".
I flipped the sketch, hope thats ok.
Here is a close up of the buttons. I threaded them on, they will slide along the ribbon if I want to move them.
Here are the daisies up close.
Here I show I used a strip of the green on the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed looking! Please feel free to leave comments, love hearing form you. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Submission for Jitterbuggin Challenge

This is my card that I made for the Jitterbuggin Challenge.

The base is cardstock cut at 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" . The white and blue are from the scraps bag, red shiney paper is from Citrus (DCVW). The "Happy" was cut using Christmas/Noel ( the solutions cart. that is retired) cut at 1 1/2 in.  The "4th" was cut using Jasmine  cricut cartridge, 4 cut @ 1 1/2" and th cut @ 1". Close up of the "4th". The ovals were also cut using the Jasmine cricut cartridge and both are "poped" for a little extra umph.

Here's a close up of the ribbon, just some I had so I don't have a name for it (sorry). I cut the 2 smaller stars at 3/4" and the middle one at 1" from Jasmine cricut cartridge.
Well that's all I have for now. I hope to post a couple more things tomorrow, if I don't get interupted too much that is. LOL.  Thanks for looking, please feel free to leave comments. Have a wonderful day.
