I'm a guest designer!

Want to let you all know I will be a guest designer on my sister's blog http://www.scrapcavecreations.com/ all week next week. She decided to do a Christmas themed project each weekday the whole month of November and asked if I wanted to help her out, of course I said  YES! LOL

I have a project planned for each day ( Monday- Friday). I am out of my comfort zone on mst of them, some I have NEVER tried. So I hope you like what I have done.
 Each day I will post the previous days project on my blog. I hope you come see what I've done.

My Pumpkin

Here is a layout I made for my daughter, to put pic's of her and her pumpkin on. Most of the papers are older papers that I recieved from my sister.
So I hope you like it!

The orange and orange glitter paper are from Citrus paper pack(DCWV). Black is plain cardstock paper.

I used a black brad and a coupleof leaves I got at Dollar General and inked them with red and orange inks.

Mat sizes are:

Lg- black- 4.5" x 5.5"  pumpkin paper- 4.25" x 5.25"

Med- black- 3.75" x 3.5"  pumpkin paper- 4.5" x 3.25"

Small- bl.-2.75" x 3" pump. paper- 2.5" x 2.75"

Wedding card

Here is a card I made for my cousin's wedding. It's another one of my simple cards. I made to look alot like their invitation, simple but elegant.

Most of the papers are from the scrap bag. The white ebmossed is from a paper pack I bought on clearance at Target earlier this year. I think the L came from Jasmine cricut cartridge.
Well there it is.... like I said, simple! : )

Finally got one done!!

 My Mom recently got re-married and I wanted to make them a little something to have to remember their day. I was going to do a double pager but since she doesn't scrap she wouldn't have an album to put it in, so I just done one page that can be framed and hung on the wall.
 I think she really liked it, least I hope so. I did really want to do more on it but thought it would be too busy so there's not alot of cricut on it. So hope you enjoy looking, thanks for stoppin by......

See not a real complex one, but I liked it.

Just love those little clips with the hearts!

I did take a couple of the hearts off the clips so I could use just the hearts.

Just wanted to check in and let you know I do intend to post something soon. I have had some of the scrapping blues lately, among other things. I want to thank you all for following me and I am sorry for my absence but hopefully I can get something up for you soon.

Another layout for my niece

This is a LO I worked on at a recent crop. I had some help with this one though. My sister glued it down and added some stickers to it, so I must give credit where credit is due. Thanks Tammy! I don't remember the papers or carts I used, sorry, I didn't write it all down this time. So here it is..........

LO for my niece

Here is a layout I made for my niece, my sister and I are making her an album in secret.

I have to try to think of something on page 2 above the journal tag, may end up putting a monkey up there.

I used my I-rock for the lion's eyes.

I used some rub on's on the tag. The tag slides out 

from behind the picture mat. 

You can't really see it here but I put a drop of stickles in the eyes of the elephant.

My Pink Stamper challenge card

Here is a card I made for the My Pink Stamper challenge. The challenge was to use orange, turquoise and green. All the paper was scraps, so not sure where they came from. Do know the striped paper is from DCWV Citrus stack. Hope this meets the criteria for the challenge and hope you like it!

The flower and vase are from Walk in my Garden cricut cartridge cut at 3". I used my i-rock to put a little bling on the vase.

I used swiss dots to emboss the striped paper.

Inside the card. This is a stamp I picked up at Michael's for $1.00. I am not the best stamper so is not perfect.Well thats all I have for today, thanks for stoppin by today. Have a wonderful day and God bless.

MIL Birthday card

I put this card together today for my dear Mother-in-laws birthday on the 21 st of this month. She will be 88 years young. So Mary if you see this before her birthday please don't let her see it!  I think she will like it.

This is the first kind of card I have made like this, so it is far from perfect.

The inside is blank for now, need a sentiment stamp to put in there. I did use more cardstock to make a double mat for thr sentiment.

Here I used some little sticker jewles for a little bling!

Here I added a little ribbon to the bottom.  So not a real complicated card, but still cute.
The recipe:
Base: 6.5" x 11" plain cardstock
Designed paper: Totally Girl from My minds eye
Flower Purples: Coredinations (Neutrals?)
Yellow: AC Cardstock
Black: from a mat stack (glittered) (Christmas/DCWV?)
Ribbon: American Crafts

Baby shower card

Here is a card I put together for my neice's baby shower. I used mainly scraps along with a couple sheets of plain cardstock.

Its a pretty simple card. I thought the monkey was cute, and thats her theme. He was cut from the Paisley cricut cartridge.

Close up of the monkey's face. I used some stickles on the tassel on his hat.

Inside the card. Below you can see I also made an envelope to go with the card.

I used a Dew Drop ink pad to make "leaves" for the envelope. I used and ink pen to make the "veins" of the leaves.
